Scottish Police College – Website

November 30th, 2005

http://www.tulliallan.police.uk As a previous Web Developer for the Scottish Police College 2002-2004.
I re-developed the entire website using a combination of table based layouts (old skool method), Cascading Style Sheets, HTML, DHTML, Javascript & CGI/Perl.

This site incorporates HTML, DHTML and JavaScript. Packages used include: Macromedia Dreamweaver 3, Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and HTMLToolkit & W3C Validator plus PixMaker by PixAround for creating 360°, 180° degree panoramic images for the VR Tours.

I l ike the “old school” method of using tables. I know that DIV is king now but I guess I’m old fashioned. What worries me is if people do not use DIVs correctly then accessiblity can be affected, as try viewing a site without the CSS file loading and see what happens.
