The festive season is finally here and the Christmas presents are burning a hole in our pockets yet again Bah, Humbug!!
So to lighten up your mood and enjoy the holiday season why not try out this little festive treat!
While browsing the web I came across this virtual e-card to build your own gingerbread cookie from the website TheoWorlds.com. It’s a rather nifty use of Adobe Flash and gets you into the Christmas spirit. Its well worth a look and great fun to create your own festive goodies, just a shame we can’t actually eat them, they look such tasty delights, yummy, yum!!

Ever fancied taking on the role of a medical surgeon in the operating theatre?
Why not try out this fun online interactive educational learning activity, developed by Living Children Mutlimedia makers of High Quality Educational Content.
This project is catered towards students grade levels 7-12 and up. Created for Edheads and a collaborative venture with the Center of Science & Industry
Users are taken through the step-by-step procedure of a full knee replacement surgery on a 76-year-old man. Students get to take first hand experience of the operation allowing them to interact with exact corresponding tools that surgeons use during the actual operation.

This cool piece of flash animation has been cleverly thought-out and accurately researched. Graphics, animation and sound are created to a very high professional standard. Combines great use of interaction within flash to simulate the surgical procedures undertaken. A really impressive bit of flash work here, certainly worth adding to the collection of favourites.

This very clever online flash game was created by Dmitry Zheltobriukhov whom also won the third prize award at the Animoweb 2004 games contest. Welcome to your new job as a waitress, your job is to serve your clients. Take the orders, bring the orders to the customers and clean the tables.

This flash game is an excellent idea truely marvellous really, such a simple idea for such a relatively mundane job. However it gives players an idea of the daily chores of what a waitress has to do and the stresses of keeping up within a restaurant.
Actually the game can be quiet fun and addictive and perhaps a little repetitive to some, however looking at it from a development point of view it's really well thought out and cleverly planned. This game can also be used in a business sense since it portrays a real life scenario and multi-tasking techniques when under pressure. Well done for creating what I think is a really great idea!
