Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. has created this new website an Alternative Reality Game (ARG) to promote the new movie Untraceable.
A new website has gone live on the Internet streaming torture scenes and death. The more people that visit the website the faster the victims die, so does your curiosity get the better of ya? Well mines certainly did and I just had to check it out. Don’t worry though the site isn’t real it’s just a promotional site for the film.
The task is to hunt down a cyber-killer who posts his victims live on the Internet on a site called http://www.killwithme.com.
The site was created to engage fans of the film. You play an FBI Agent as part of the Federal Cyber Crimes Task Force, whose computer has just been hacked and you have to solve the puzzles in the cyber crimes division to gain clues to the username and password to access the killer’s server and shut down the site.
If you get stuck why not check out my Kill with Me Video Walkthrough on YouTube. If you would like the answers to some of the clues in the website check out my comments below, however this is the spoiler so don’t look if you want to discover them for yourself. Have great fun
