XBOX 360 Guinea Pigs

XBox 360 I may be more relieved not to have purchased an Xbox 360 from what I have been reading. I reckon I will hold off & wait till the release of the Sony PlayStation 3. Either by that time Microsoft might have ironed out all their bug errors or at least its rival Sony PlayStation 3 sounds more robust and possibly has better features.

The BBC News Site has reported several crashes by owners. Different errors appearing while playing the various games that are released with the new console. Microsoft has provided a help line stating that they will repair or replace the unit if errors keep occurring.

It also appears that 1 in every 8 Xbox's are faulty (they are either overheating or the CD reader fails). This sounds terrible for just releasing a brand new console. What do we expect from Microsoft though? We as users are the guinea pigs. Let's test our broken console on the general public, we can take their money while they do all our testing for us. Well this is outrageous considering the price we have to fork out for it. I just hope they can fix these issues soon, because we aren’t going to have many happy puppies for Christmas. That being the case the long waiting on new batches for pre-orders is infuriating customers.

Microsoft’s XBOX 360 – Reveals Today!

Xbox 360 Console

The next generation console has arrived the Xbox 360 enters a whole new world of gaming experience. This console packs in high-definiation (HD) graphics running at 1280×720 resolution, wireless free connections and doubles as a Home Media Centre. Allowing you to watch DVD’s, rip music to the hard drive combined with multi-channel surround sound.

Microsoft’s aim to sell their must have games console in time for Christmas. How many people will actually get the console in time though? Their are many doubts of the long waiting lists for customers who have pre-ordered the console and doesn’t look promising for getting it anytime soon. If your lucky to get your hands on the new console, post a reply & make my mouth water at those outstanding graphics.

Nintendo DS

Blue Handheld Console (Nintendo DS) Well I went and bought myself a blue Nintendo DS pack with Nintendogs. Disappointed to find when I got it home to recover two dead pixels on the screen. So I then took it back to the store and they replaced it with no problem.

Yet again my second one had the exact same problem, this I was very disappointed. I checked up on the internet to see if this was a common problem with DS's and apparently very common.

Nintendo say it's acceptable so they sell you a broken console but you either accept it or not. Take a look at what   Nintendo say on their site.

Again I took it back to the store and they had no more of the blue ones left to replace it. So I had to go out of town to get it at another store of theirs. Little did I expect my third one to be the same and it was really infuriating. However having tried so many times to change it and not being successful I stuck with it. The pixel placement was not so bad at the previous two consoles, but I don't think Nintendo should sell these with flaws.

There is many reviews and common doubts about TFT's/plasma's having these issues and 2-3 dead pixels being acceptable. However I have a LCD TV, TFT monitor and PDA and never had these issues they claim. It could be just an excuse for cheaper manufacture of hardware.
