Ever fancied taking on the role of a medical surgeon in the operating theatre?
Why not try out this fun online interactive educational learning activity, developed by Living Children Mutlimedia makers of High Quality Educational Content.
This project is catered towards students grade levels 7-12 and up. Created for Edheads and a collaborative venture with the Center of Science & Industry
Users are taken through the step-by-step procedure of a full knee replacement surgery on a 76-year-old man. Students get to take first hand experience of the operation allowing them to interact with exact corresponding tools that surgeons use during the actual operation.

This cool piece of flash animation has been cleverly thought-out and accurately researched. Graphics, animation and sound are created to a very high professional standard. Combines great use of interaction within flash to simulate the surgical procedures undertaken. A really impressive bit of flash work here, certainly worth adding to the collection of favourites.

Tuesday, 20th June 2006 saw the final release of the developer's web browser Opera 9 now available for download.
After many tests with the beta versions I hope they have fixed some of the major issues affecting page layouts. Particularly with CSS and more importantly the rendering of certain page elements.
Many new features have been implemented such as widgets, tab previews, content blocking a source viewer and Bit Torrent support among many other additions. Well it's certainly worth trying out so why not download yourself a copy and experience the World Wide Web through a better and safer web browser. Once you have tested it out why not leave a comment

The new sleek and sexy Nintendo DS Lite Handheld Console will be released on Friday 23rd June 2006. Retailing at the same price as the original Nintendo DS GBP £99.99.
It appears the DS Lite comes available in colours of White & Black for now. Many improvements have been made a smaller console, thicker stylus, sleeker and lighter with improved backlit screen for brighter settings, providing clearer visibility.
I think this is a must have replacement to my old Nintendo DS, hopefully I can get a good deal on trade-in since my current one isn’t even a year old yet. If only just to replace it for the sake of the brighter screen and lighter handheld I think it’s well worth it, lets just hope it doesn’t reproduce the same issue with the dead pixels on the screen.
