Need for Speed Most Wanted – PlayStation 2

Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Black Edition (PS2) Been wanting to try this one out for sometime now and I have to say wow what a really excellent game and extremely addictive. I currently own Need for Speed Underground – PS2, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 – Xbox and nothing quiet matches this game, it knocks spots off the rest.

The most notorious street racer is back with the fastest police pursuit chases and head-to-head races with the most elusive street drivers in the Blacklist. This game provides many different options Career mode being the main story to the game, where you work off the Blacklist of drivers and build up your street credit allowing you to win cars you race against.

You earn cash for these races then you can customise, upgrade and supe up your car unlocking advanced features to tune up your car if you earn enough winnings. Other options are the challenge series a mix of time trials and evading the cops there are 68 challenges to work through and this lets you practice some more before you enter the career mode.

Quick race gives you a taster for the game and may be if you just want to chill and play the game. The split screen mode is for when you want to challenge your mates at the game I’m rather fond of the speed trap option allowing you to race with your mates in the fastest time possible, each area on the track has speed camera sections if your fast enough and win it cumulates up your speeds at the end. An excellent game a must have for the collection :)

Establish the new feed icon

RSS Icon What’s this all about you ask? Well it’s come to my attention that a new standard is being set on the web to use this iconic symbol as the new feed icon to identify syndicated content or commonly known as RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds.

Finally the web browsers have come together to use this as a standard semiotic icon as already used in Mozilla Firefox and implemented in Internet Explorer 7 and now to be adopted in the next build of Opera web browser.

I actually like this icon and think it's becoming more instantly recognisable, although this is debatable among many. What do you think of the icon? Why not express your opinions below. Many thanks to http://feedicons.com where the icon was sourced.

Opera Web Browser on Nintendo DS

Wow this is interesting news Opera web browser intend to offer World Wide Web access on the Nintendo DS. While browsing I came across this press release on the Opera site check it out.

No sign of this happening in the UK as yet but will keep a look out. However looks like it will be another purchase of a separate DS card to access this feature, how much will this be I wonder, not expensive I hope!
