MSI 865PE Neo2 Motherboard

MSI 6728 This is my MSI (Micro-Star International) motherboard. I would have to say MSI make great motherboards and PC hardware.

I highly recommend them and have never encountered any issues. Their support is also quiet good, so you can’t really go wrong. I needed a motherboard, which supported an Intel Pentium 4 Processor as these are my preferred manufacture of processors.

AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) make resonable processors and I have had them before, however you can’t beat an Intel and there is no going back for me :)

Compared to the newer models on the market this motherboard is a bit dated as I have had it for a few years now. However it still keeps its placement and is very reliable. It came at a RTP of £69.99 from ebuyer purchased on the 18th May 2004. It supports up to a 3.2GHz/800MHz Intel processor with two SATA ports and up to 4GB of dual channel DDR400 memory.

When I require to upgrade my motherboard I will certainly be buying from them again, with the new PCI-E slot support for new graphics cards and support for 64-bit processors. Wish I had the pennies to upgrade now, never enough money to keep up with my fix of gadgets and PC equipment.

If your on the hunt for good quality computer equipment it wouldn’t hurt to take a look at Micromart magazine. They provide reliable independent reviews that you can trust.
